Volkswagen Golf GTI W12-650 Concept

Jeremy Clarkson had the “dreadful” task of driving the VW Golf GTi W12 Concept . Though it may look like nothing more than a… bloated Golf GTi, in fact we’re talking about a total different vehicle as this concept features a mid-mounted, 650Hp 6.0-liter 12-cylinder engine that powers the rear-wheels. According to VW, the GTi W12 accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 sec and it achieves a top speed of 325km/h (202 mph).

Clarkson had his hands full with this one as the the handling had yet to be sorted out, and he was in the only one in existence. A video might better help to define what he was up against.
