[edit] In this Episode

Review: Jeremy drives the Ford Focus ST (referred to as the Ford ASBO during the segment). The Stig achieves a time of 1:34.9 round a slippery and foggy track.

News: Jeremy announces that the show won an International Emmy Award for best non-scripted entertainment programme but he was unable to collect the prize as he was too busy writing the script.

Star in a Reasonably Priced Car: Then British transport minister Stephen Ladyman drove the Liana. During the interview, Ladyman reveals that he is a petrolhead despite his pro-speed camera stance. During a practice run he lost control and went backward into a tyre wall. Ladyman posts a time of 1:48.8.

Cool Wall: Clarkson and Hammond argue about the positioning of the Aston Martin V8 in the fridge, and the Vauxhall Astra VXR and Mercedes SLK55 AMG in the "Cool" region with Hammond moving the Mercedes picture to the "Uncool" section. In the end Clarkson and Hammond 'come to blows' over the placement of the BMW M6, with the 'brawl' going into the crowd. Hammond proceeds to eat the card.

Road Trip: All three presenters take their favourite supercars to drive across the Millau Viaduct bridge in France. Richard chooses a Pagani Zonda, Jeremy takes his own Ford GT, and James picks a Ferrari F430. They create a traffic jam in Paris while attempting to leave a car park, owing to the angle of the slope onto the road combined with the low bodies of the cars, the fronts were scraping the ground. Jeremy and Richard are surprised to find May defying his "Captain Slow" nickname and driving the Ferrari F430 faster than them on a twisting mountain road.
