[edit] In this Episode

Review: Jeremy tests the Alfa Romeo 166, which, as Jeremy claims, has poor depreciation, poor reliability, and is not great to drive around the corners. His final verdict though is that the car is brilliant and it's a much better purchase than an Audi, or a BMW, or a Mercedes. In the studio Jeremy introduces the front-wheel drive Alfa Romeo 147 GTA with a 3.7L V6 engine that produces 328 BHP and says that the engine is also available in the 166. The Alfa 147 is thrashed around the track by the Stig and it sets a time of 1.30.0

Challenge: Richard answers the question "Can a nun drive a monster truck?"

News: Jesus comes to visit Top Gear. The Volkswagen Golf GTI is introduced. The challenge for next week's episode is also announced: "Can you buy a car for less than 100 pounds".

Review: Hammond tests the Cadillac Escalade, made famous by black rappers. He says that though its not a practical car, it has presence and charisma due to its size and is the ultimate bling vehicle. Jeremy tries to bling out a Volvo XC90.

Star in a Reasonably Priced Car: Paul McKenna, a hypnotist, thrashes the Liana around in 1:48.0. He then hypnotizes Richard and makes him forget how to drive a car.

Review: James tests out Fab1, the car used in the movie Thunderbirds by Lady Penelope. He takes the 27 foot long monster for a spin around the local British village.

Review: Jeremy tests the McLaren Mercedes SLR hypercar with 626 BHP. The Stig rips it up on the track and completes the lap in 1.20.9. It becomes the new power board leader.
