In this Episode

Challenge: Jeremy races to Monte Carlo using an Aston Martin DB9 against Richard and James using the TGV train.

News: BMW 1 series is introduced with a 0-60 time of 11 seconds. Ford announces the Focus ST. The Mini Cabriolet is also presented.

Main Review: Top Gear contacts Rover to test out their new car, the City Rover and is rejected. So to find out how devastatingly horrible it is, James, while pretending to be a typical Rover customer, surreptitiously gives a Top Gear report. His final verdict is that the car is not worth the price as it is more expensive and is far less equipped than a Fiat Panda. He also claims "That is the worst car I've ever driven on this program".

Star in a Reasonably Priced Car: Fay Ripley, the actress, talks about her big break with Robert Dinero, her minis, and road rage experiences. She then completes her lap in 1:53.3.

Cool Wall: The general consensus on the City Rover is that it's seriously uncool. Richard and Jeremy agree that both the Focus ST and the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti are uncool, the ST because of the name and the Scaglietti because of the styling by Ken. The DB9 is put in a fridge surpassing super cool.

Review: Jeremy tests the Lotus Exige, and pits it against an Apache Helicopter to see if it can get missile lock. The Stig takes it for a spin on the track and completes the lap in 1.26.9
