History: Richard Hammond tells the story of the Jaguar MkII. News: Jeremy shows James and Richard the new Astra, and they all agree it looks fantastic. Richard introduces the Ferrari 360 CS. Jeremy presents Rover's latest launch. Richard reads a surprising reliability survey. James talks about an opening he's been invited to. To close the section, Richard shows some carbage. Star in a Reasonably Priced Car: Boris Johnson, MP exchanges tidbits about motor writing with Jeremy Clarkson. He makes a poor time around the track of 1:56.0. Review: Jeremy tests the new Jaguar XJR in a long journey across Great Britain to see whether he gets tired, annoyed and irritable or the Jaguar can keep him relaxed. After driving all the way to John O'Groats and back, his verdict is that it's a very good car, and that, most importantly, it hasn't lost any of its inherent "jaguariness". Cool Wall: The Jaguar XJR goes into the "Cool" section of the Wall, but the rest of the XJ range go into "Uncool". Insider Dealing: James May gives some advice on used XJs and car supermarkets. Main Review: Jeremy tests the Jaguar XKRR Concept and the Aston Martin DB7 GT in the track. He thinks both are brilliant. The Stig sets a time of 1:30.4. He tries to set a time in the XKR, too, but the rear suspension has been modified by Jaguar and the car proves to be a handful even for him. Screenshots
