[edit] In this Episode
Review: Clarkson drives the Porsche Carrera GT2, before deciding it's too hard to drive and reviewing the Lamborghini Gallaro LP560-4 instead, and decides it's brilliant. The Stig then does a lap in the Gallardo, and comes in with a time of 1:19.5 putting it above he Nissan GTR and alongside the Aerial Atom.
News: Every British car is now Worthless, including Jeremy's Aston Martin V8 Vantage which loses half it's value in a year. Jeremy makes up for that, however, by getting his milk from the back of a cow. The Dacia Sandero will not be sold in Britain, much to James's disappointment...
There's a new British sports car built by a man in a shed, Shropshire fire brigade state the obvious all day and Citroen have made a van with a hat on, perfect for spending the British summer in now that we have no money.
Challenge: The boys decide to try out lorry driving to see how hard it really is, and each choose a lorry. Jeremy turns up with a Lego brick-style Renault, James brings a Scania and Richard gets the 'Caterham of lorries', an ERF. Then they were set a series of challenges, ranging from power sliding their lorry to Hill starts and racing each other around a speed bowl. Jeremy also makes the controversial comment about lorries drivers and what they get up to.
The challenge is rounded off by the boys crashing their lorries into 'objects', which results in Jeremy being injured and the Top Gear production office being destroyed... Again.
Star in a Reasonably Priced Car: Michael Parkinson kicks off the series by making an appearance and talking in a northern accent. He goes out in the Lacetti and does a 1:49:4. Not bad considering his age, and the the fact that he should have been watching Strictly Come Dancing.
